Most change efforts do not fail because people dislike change. They fail because the organization has not made the case for why this change matters, who owns it, and what support people will have while working through it.
In practice, that means change work begins earlier than most teams expect. It starts with diagnosis, leadership alignment, stakeholder reality, and an honest view of what the system will reinforce—or quietly reject.
